Peter Papayanakos is a dedicated trial attorney who, for more than a decade, has dedicated his entire legal career to advocating for individuals and families who have suffered catastrophic injury or the wrongful death of a loved one.

After graduating from Syracuse University College of Law, Pete had the privilege of working alongside the Hon. John C. Cherundolo for nearly a decade. During his time there, Pete developed into an accomplished trial lawyer, trying multiple cases to verdict, including securing a $5.6 million jury verdict in Jefferson County in 2025.

Pete approaches every case with the same care and intensity he would demand for his own family. He understands that for many clients, a lawsuit represents their only opportunity to hold wrongdoers accountable and obtain meaningful justice. Pete is relentless in the outcome, but respectful in the process. His practice focuses on complex personal injury and wrongful death matters, including medical malpractice, products liability, premise liability, construction accidents, nursing home negligence, and motor vehicle and trucking accidents.

A lifelong Central New Yorker, Pete grew up in Syracuse and attended Christian Brothers Academy. Pete lives in the City of Syracuse with his wife, Nicole (also an attorney) and their two daughters.
